The exhibition Hybrids shows how art is affected by the artist’s cultural background. How do our ideas about art change as a function of parameters such as time, religion, politics, society, media, globalization, and immigration? How does our experience of art relate to our varied backgrounds? And does that experience change the meaning of art? The exhibition’s participants differ in their cultural origins.
